Biography
Xavier is a tax lawyer qualified in Spain with over 11 years of international tax experience. Prior to co-founding NAX Law in 2024, he worked for more than six years at the Middle East’s largest law firm Al Tamimi in Dubai and Riyadh, and more than four years at the top Spanish firm Cuatrecasas. He regularly advises a wide range of clients including individuals, entrepreneurs, family offices, financial institutions, and local and multinational companies. He has experience across all taxes, including corporate and personal income tax, Zakat, VAT, excise tax, withholding tax, wealth tax, inheritance tax, double taxation treaties, transfer pricing and real estate transfer tax, in a wide range of industry sectors.

Nashmi Al Otaibi

Biography
Nashmi is a qualified lawyer in Saudi Arabia with over 10 years of experience. He has been instrumental in assisting clients with innovative legal solutions to achieve their business objectives. His expertise lies in leveraging his extensive knowledge of the tax law to interpret regulations, provide legal opinions, offer strategic advice on tax laws and policies, and dealing with the tax authorities and tax committees. He specialises in tax structuring and tax dispute resolution in Saudi Arabia. He possesses in-depth knowledge across multiple tax categories including Zakat, income tax, VAT, real estate transfer tax and withholding tax. Nashmi has also authored several articles on Saudi tax law published in Saudi newspapers.

Aida Kellal

Biography
Before joining NAX Law, Ms. Kellal was co-head of the Middle East Desk in the top firm Cuatrecasas for the past 12 years, and practiced law in France and the United Arab Emirates with the largest law firm in the Middle East. Ms. Kellal has extensive experience in M&A transactions, advising both public and private entities, as well as local and international clients on crossborder acquisitions and investments. She specialises in private equity, public concessions and public private partnerships, and has extensive experience in the industrial area (chemical, water production and automotive), logistics and engineering. Ms. Kellal is a qualified lawyer in France and Algeria. She is a visiting professor at the IE Business School in Madrid and the International University of Catalonia.
